Track Talk West is written by Redlander, a Bristol-based horseracing enthusiast who has followed the sport for over 50 years.
I often attend meetings at my two nearest courses, Bath and Chepstow, and occasionally make trips to venues a little further afield, such as Cheltenham, Taunton, Salisbury and Ludlow.
It is my intention, time permitting, to publish previews and reports for most of the meetings at Bath and Chepstow, supplementing the rather sparse coverage these tracks get in the national press.
I also hope to occasionally report on racing industry news that is likely to affect our local tracks.
